Oaks Amusement Park

We came here for the ScareGrounds which we had purchased tickets for in advance. The side ticket shows was not quite what we had expected, but we were still able to do some fun activities. We purchased VIP so we did not have to wait in what looked to be about 30 minute lines. The actual ride selection at the amusement park was limited and there was only ride that we wanted to go on, which I could not ride due to size. Rather than purchasing a $40 bracelet we got a single ride ticket for $13. The carousel and the mini train ride are free to ride. We found parking easily and used the website to pay and skip waiting at the kiosk. Overall a fun little amusement park but nothing special especially for guests of larger size.

Fun, lots to do kids had a blast. Could use a few more roller coasters. Kids rode a lot of the same rides over and over again, but we were there from shortly after open till end of day. My big complaint is the fun rides are not accessible to large people for reference I'm 6'4" and 🫣 330lbs I was just to big for the cost to push in hips and waist were to big. The spinning swinging ride I was to broad shoulder the over the head things could not push down low enough to close.

This review is for the new light show they offer. It is horrible. The only light tunnel is the entrance where they take your ticket. Pro tip- if you park in the back parking lot you can just walk in for free along the train tracks. Golf is an extra $20. I grew up living oaks park, but as a parent now, I would not send anyone here at all. Also the 1 open bathroom was flooded out. Massive rip off.
